This is the second time I have posted these icons to the public (the first sets had been removed from the archives... DOH!) I have repackaged them, and added a few extras to the mix for excitement. The icons are now stored in 3 groups:
MJS Custom Icons - Set 1: Basic items such as plain folders, system folders, and disks.
MJS Custom Icons - Set 2: Customized folders, with goofy names and many clever uses.
MJS Custom Icons - Set 3: Familiar icons for hard drives, network servers, etc. Lotsa fun!
I don't plan on supporting or adding to the collection, but I felt an obligation to repost the icons since they generated so much mail in the past. The icons are stored as simple folders
with custom icons, so you should be able to simply Get Info, select the icon, then select
Copy from the Edit menu. To apply an icon, do the same thing to the desired file, folder, or volume, but select Paste instead.
Please feel free to redistribute the icon archives on the Internet AS A WHOLE (including my documentation), but be sure to carefully label any changes in format or content that you make.
